Programming
I started programming 13 years ago, and my principal programming language is Python. In that time I have also had experience with Java, C, C++, C#, Perl, Prolog, Shell (Bash), JavaScript, TypeScript and PHP.
Software Development
I have experience in RESTful API development, documentation and integration using Swagger and Flask, as well as AWS Lambda. I have also built several Web Apps with and without frameworks such as Django, and Progressive Web Apps backed by Firebase. I have experience with both SQL and NoSQL database systems including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. In relation to cloud deployment, I have experience with both AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCP (Google Cloud Platform). I have also built several chat bots, backed by DialogFlow and Wit.ai. I have Android App Development experience in Java, with plans to explore Kotlin. Currently also learning iOS app development in Swift.
Web Development
I have 5 years of experience in Web Development, using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and JavaScript including jQuery. I have experience developing various kinds of WordPress websites including e-Commerce using WooCommerce. I also have experience using Bootstrap and Foundation frameworks.
Design
My design work has mainly revolved around graphic design for marketing and apparel, logo design, as well as User Experience (UX) and Web design. I have over 10 years of experience in using Photoshop for graphic design, as well as image editing and manipulation. I’m also experienced in using Illustrator for logo and vector design.
Photography
One of my all time favourite hobbies! I enjoy travel and portrait photography. I also have experience with event and fashion photography.
